A typical Day

Designed to give children the opportunity to decompress, complete their homework, and learn-by-doing. We strive to create an environment to help students feel centered, calm, and happy. The kids are well-supervised, free to move around the outdoors, help in the barn, or just read a book!

3:30pm - 4:00pm Kids are welcomed to the farm, beginning with free time to explore the property, finishing with preparing and serving the animals a snack.
4:00pm - 5:15pm We spend time on activities and around the animals. Children participate in a range of activities such as: gardening, cooking, canning and preserving food, cheese making, sewing, art, nature crafts. All which coincide with holidays and seasonal changes on the farm.
5:15pm - pickup We end each day doing animal chores such as feeding the pigs, goats, cows, horses, gathering eggs, etc., and yes ….. some clean up/mucking the stalls.

HOW IT WORKS

Parents choose how many days per session. We offer the program Monday - Thursday.

The fee is $45 each day. A signed waiver and the fee is payable in full at the beginning of each session.
